The winning author and editor each receive an original beautifully hand-crafted box, inlaid with silver, based on the design of the Branford Boase Award logo. The author also takes home a cheque for £1000.

The resutls of the Branford Boase Award and the Henrietta Branford Writing Competion will be announced at a date to be announced at an informal private party at Walker Books in London where the prizes will be presented to the winners .
