Ian is Development Manager for Bromley Library, Archive and Museum Service in south London. He has fifteen years experience of working with children, young people and their books as a community literacy worker and children’s librarian. Ian was Chair of the judging panel for the 2007 CILIP Carnegie and Kate Greenaway Medals and has judged several other children’s book awards. He is the co-author of ‘Londoners Need to Read’ and ‘Image and Imagination: 50 Years of the Kate Greenaway Medal’.
